Brow Tattooing?
Semi-Permanent Brows
I use the highest quality pigments applied into the surface layer of the dermis (skin), this is not as deep in to the skin as regular tattooing. This achieves a clean fade and with no colour change.
Natural Look
The colour pigment is chosen to match your natural eyebrow colour, and the strokes are drawn in the same direction as your natural hair growth. This creates the most natural look possible for your new eyebrows.
Long Lasting
Once your treatment is completed, your new eyebrows can last from 1-3 years, depending on skin type and lifestyle and with minor touch-up sessions to refresh pigment colour over time.
Microblading
Microblading is a technique in which a small handheld tool made up of several tiny needles adds permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hairstroke is created by hand producing a thin, natural looking line that blends in with existing eyebrow hair. Microblading will create, enhance or reshape the appearance of your eyebrows. Not suitable for all skin types.
Nano Stroke Brows
Nano stroke brows are an advanced technique that create fine natural looking hair strokes using a tattoo device. The technique enhances the shape and fullness of the brows while maintaining a soft realistic appearance.
Suitable for most skin types.
Ombre/Powder Brows
Powder brows are a semi permanent tattoo technique that creates a soft shaded makeup effect, leaving a natural finish. Suitable for all skin types.
Combination Brows
A combination of hair stroke techniques and shading can be used to provide a realistic look and create density by adding soft shading. The perfect balance of realism and definition.

How long does Brow tattoo treatment take?
Your first Brow tattoo treatment treatment will take between 2-3 hours to complete. Then a second touch-up session is required 6 weeks after your first treatment, which will take a further 1-2 hours.
How long does it take to heal after treatment?
The colour will appear darker initially after the first treatment. This is normal after having the procedure, the colour will then lighten within a few days. You may notice very light scabbing after your Brow tattoo treatment treatment, but this is perfectly normal and an unavoidable part of the healing process.
Do I really need a touch-up session?
Definitely! 6 weeks after having your treatment, you’ll need to see Marika Permanent Makeup for a touch-up session. The colour will have settled and blended in after this 6 week period and will be touched-up to ensure the closest possible match to your natural eyebrow colour. Your eyebrows will also be refined during this session to ensure your brows are totally flawless!
How long does Brow tattoo treatment last?
Brow tattoo treatment eyebrows can last for up to 3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle and age. Your new brows will last for a minimum of 12 months and another touch-up session after this time should get your brows looking back to their sparkling best.
Is Brow tattoo treatment suitable for everyone?
Our clients’ health and safety is of utmost importance to Marika Permanent Makeup, unfortunately there are certain occasions which will prevent Marika Permanent Makeup from performing your Brow tattoo treatment treatment. If you have certain medical conditions, such as skin diseases or irritation, allergies, or have had recent Botox injections, you won’t qualify for the procedure. We ask you to complete a consultation form prior to treatment to ascertain all of the above, and the treatment cannot be performed without the client’s completed, signed consultation form. A patch test will also be required prior to treatment to ensure your personal safety. Brow tattoo treatment will not suit all skin types.
Where can I have Semi permanent brows treatments?
We offer treatments at The King Street Business Centre in Exeter on Tuesdays to Saturdays and at Tanya’s Beauty Studio in Great Torrington on Monday, appointments by special request only.
